Sisenesite minu maailma, mõtetesse kiirelt rikkaks ehk kuidas tunda ära petuskeeme arvamustesse. Hi, my name is Toomas Reisalu and I live in Estonia, which is a small, highly developed country in North-Eastern Europe. My country population is only one and half million. I have been cried a lot because of people wrong attitude toward me.
Many people does not tolerate disabled people in Estonia. They thinking, if you are a young, healthy and successful — then you are very loved in my homeland. I live in a very difficult position: I have very bad health, I am poor, and I am falled in a difficult situation. I have been diagnosed about 30 diseases , 8 of them are neurological, but I want to live.
Briefly, I’m lame, hands carrying me down, because they are attracted to seizures and is similarly weak as my legs, my stomach and intestines do not work anymore without the aid of tablets. I live every day in pain. All over my body is in pain. I have a constant fluid loss, I’m 185 cm tall, but my weight is less than 60 kg, which is dangerously low, but the doctors do not think that my place is still in the hospital. Two years ago, I received the first chemotherapy course, and I threw up indefinitely. My big problem is life-threatening low blood pressure. I no longer dare to call an ambulance for help, because I’m already a burden on national health care system.
My life was a period when I called an ambulance for help three or four times a day. In 2007, I defended my friend, but one man stubbed me with the knife about 20 times. I want to live, although I have very big problems with health. I get access to the yard once a month. This is why the internet and facebook are my whole world. They are my window to the world. That’s why, I hope my request for support would reach beyond the border of my homeland.
In short, my life is the real nightmare. But I still have a lot of dreams. My greatest dream is that you share my story about one million times. I had a birthday on 4 December.
